Description
If an artist were assigned the task of depicting invisible wind, this image would be one of the finest answers. Two tall trees are swaying in the wind. None of the people can walk normally; instead they bend and struggle against the strong wind.
In the sky, numerous pieces of paper are flying high; all those papers have come from the woman at left. The papers appear to be Kaishi, used for writing poems, which were folded and tucked inside the front of her kimono.
Far away, Mt. Fuji shows its beautiful figure, contrasting with the panicked people in the foreground.
