Three horses, each carrying a man, are rushing; the flowing clothes show how fast the horses are running. Hokusai depicted this vigorous scene so well that I even feel as though I hear the sound of the running horses. By enlarging the image, we can even see horses' eye expressions.

The structure at lower right is a Kosatsu-ba, where official bulletins are displayed. In the distance we see Fuji, in pale red.
