Description

Tsukudajima was a small island located at the entrance of the Sumida River, where many fishermen lived. (Through continuous reclamation, the island has expanded into a much larger area, now filled with many tall buildings.)

Various types of boats such as cargo vessels, fishing boats, and passenger boats can be seen around the island.

The original version was an aizuri-e, which used only blue coloring in different shades, but this version uses other colors, and the subtle red sky has a particularly striking effect as a background to Mt. Fuji.
