This is the magnificent view of Shimizu harbor in Ejiri - seen from an overlooking high spot, with the Tokaido station at the foreground. The many heavy-laden ships indicate that this was a very prosperous harbor.

The sand bank stretching from right is Miho no Matsubara, a famous picturesque spot.

As it is nearly 11 km to the next station (Fuchu) the travelers needed to rest fully here enjoying the nice panorama view!
