Description
The big moon rising in the dark blue sky is very impressive. On the narrow winding road that goes along the Kano river, travelers are hurrying to reach Numazu station, seen over the bridge.
This station is known as one of the most scenic spots along the Tokaido. The man with a Tengu mask (long-nosed goblin) on his back is presumably going to Kompira shrine. In front of him there is a woman and child. She seems to be a pilgrim, holding a dipper to collect donations from people along the way.
