Description

This is a parody version inspired by the Tales of Ise, specifically the chapter named Yatsuhashi.

Japanese irises bloom profusely in the river, and a man is fixing his straw sandal just before crossing the bridge.

Judging from their outfits, they are travelers. Since the lady holds a fan and has taken off one shoulder of her kimono, it must be a hot day.
