Description
On a verandah, two women and a small child are looking in the same direction, toward the full moon. The standing lady, wearing an orange stripe pattern kimono, appears to be a young woman, while the other woman in a calm-colored kimono seems to be the child's mother.
Part of the full moon is hidden by thick clouds, and they may be worried that the moon will be completely covered. Harunobu depicted the beautiful scene of a peaceful and quiet evening.
