This artist, Kabukido Enkyo (歌舞伎堂艶鏡 1749~1803), was active just after Sharaku stopped making prints, and only 7 works by him are known.

It might be difficult to see on the monitor, but the ‘shomen-zuri’ technique (front rubbing), is applied for the hair; not for the eyebrows and sword.
