Description

The rebus in the upper right spells her name as Hanaogi of Ogi-ya, combining the symbols for Ogi (fan), Ya (arrow), Hana (flower), and Ogi (fan). In this edition the title of the series is not shown, but in other versions, it is clearly written as Renowned Beauties from the Six Best Houses 高名美人六歌撰.

Resting her chin on the hand holding the brush, she holds rolled letter paper in her other hand. Her expression shows her contemplative mood as she ponders what to write.

Dressed in a relaxed, casual outfit, her beauty is elegantly depicted.
