Description
This woman appears to be applying makeup to her lips, but this brings a question. Her hair is tied up, which would seem to indicate she is heading for the bath. Perhaps she is actually removing the lip color.
We also see narrow brown objects through the hair on both sides. These are materials made of whale bone attached to maintain the shape of the hairdo.
As well as other prints in this set, the 'kewari' technique, carving the fine hair lines one-by-one to create a realistic image, is nicely applied.
