The beauty pictured in this print by Shunshō is in a state of undress, wearing only a pale pink and cream coloured nagajūban (full length under kimono). Her nagajūban has been decorated with a dotted asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern, and her hairline has been very finely carved. The print is a oban hashira-e ("large size pillar print").
