An onnagata actor as the heroine Masaoka, paragon of self-sacrifice and loyalty, of the kabuki play "The Precious Incense and Autumn Flowers of Sendai" (Meiboku Sendai Hagi).

Masaoka's hairline has been delicately carved and her pink eye makeup subtly printed. Patterned karazuri blind-embossing has been applied to her collar.
