In this print, a courtesan dressed in very elegant clothes boards a yakatabune (屋形船), a privately owned boat usually luxuriously decorated and with tatami mats and low-style tables to entertain guests. A woman at the right of the print brings some food to the boat in preparation for the party, and one courtesan sits inside the boat, ready to go.
