Description

The actor Bando Hikosaburo III (三世坂東彦三郎) is playing the role of Sagisakasanai (鷺坂左内) who found a chamber maid Shigenoi (重の井) and her lover Yosaku(与作) one evening in the Kabuki play ‘Koi Nyobo Somewake Tazuna' (恋女房染分手綱).

Sagisakasanai - the main character in the play - holds a paper hand lantern called ‘Bonbori 雪洞’
