Description

Left print: Kidōmaru the "Demon Boy" fights one of the Four Heavenly Kings with the skin of an ox in the background. The print was based on this late-Meiji period design by Adachi Ginko.

Right print: The Heian period court bureaucrat Fujiwara no Hidesato rescues the Dragon Woman on Seta Bridge. The dragon cannot be seen in the print, but presumably it is breathing the flames which lance down from the sky. The print was based on this late-Meiji period design by Adachi Ginko.
