Description
The samurai Baba Minonokami (1514/15–1575, more widely known as Baba Nobuharu) defeats a monkey inside a palace in this illustration based on a print designed by Adachi Ginko in the late Meiji period. There are some noticeable differences between the Adachi Ginko print and this one, showing how some prints needed to be adapted for the senjafuda format. Names of senjafuda group members are featured at the bottom of the print.
