This is a single-sheet reproduction of what was originally a two-page spread in the book 百千鳥狂歌合 (Momo chidori kyoka-awase), published in 1790.

The original book contained kyoka poetry on each page, but the reproduction publisher here has perhaps assumed that such poetry (readable and understandable only by specialists) would be of no interest to his target market, and has omitted it.
