I fell in love with japanese woodblock printing through Dave's webstreams. Each time he opened one of your packages, the perfection and clarity of your prints jumped out. To make such a complex artform look so deceivingly easy is truly the sign of a great master. You left your mark on the world.

Whenever Dave showed Kubota-san’s work on his Twitch channel the consistency and quality of his printing always astonished me – it didn’t seem humanly possible. When Dave opened a package from Kubota-san I was always impressed by how well-packaged the prints were and especially by how tight the knots were! Paying attention to every detail from start to finish is an example for all of us to follow. Geoff. Marshall

Dear Mr. Kubota,
As someone from The Netherlands, I was able to discover the great art of Japanese woodblock printmaking from the other side of the world through your work. I have acquired several prints by your hand and love each one. You have inspired my wife and me to love the art form and have grown a love for Japan along with it. Without you, we wouldn't have travelled to Japan like we did laat October. My wife is now pregnant with our first child, whom we will show and tell about your work and our admiration for your work and your country. Thank you for bringing this art and the joy it brings into our lives.
Yours sincerely,
Remy Storm

I always Enjoyed hearing stories and talks of Kubota-san by Dave and over the Years have Grown quite Honoured to hear such stories and Respectful of what he has done for all us fans and Printmakers out there, he has done so much for many of Us and Dave even if it’s hearing one story or many at this point, his work, his legacy and his life will be Remembered by Thousands that he has indirectly never met and or has met.
We thank you so much for everything and may even a hundred years or lifetimes after you are gone will people continue to enjoy what you have done for the carving and printing community in Japan and as far away to lands only thought as dreams by many who wanted to explore.
