While at first glance it appears as if the woman in this print has opened a door and is heading inside, returning from a quick walk along the riverbank, perhaps she is actually walking between stone storehouses like the ones we can see over the other side of the river. She seems to be following the two butterflies that dance in front of her - maybe to her they are more interesting than the river view she sees every day.
