A woman peers out of the reed blinds of a yakatabune boat on a rainy right. Perhaps she is in need of a breath of fresh air, or is simply checking whether it is raining or not. No doubt soon she will close the blinds and rejoin her friends or customers in the cosy and dry confines of the boat. The different layered colours and textures used by Settai are a particularly interesting feature of the print.
