Left senjafuda: Nichiren fends off a surprise attack by Kagenobu Tōjō with his rosary beads in November of 1264. Tōjō reportedly fell off of his horse, hit his head, and was carried to safety on a stretcher.

Centre senjafuda: A rock thrown at Nichiren is suspended by the power of his prayer at Komuroyama on July 4, 1274.

Right senjafuda: One of the ships of the Mongol army sinks while a flag with bearing the gohonzon mantra flies in the lower section of the print. This print represents the defeat of the Mongol army in 1281, an event prophesied by Nichiren.
