The title at upper right is read ‘Goshiki no Uchi Ki’ （五色の内黄）The designer is ‘Ryuryukyo Shinsai’ （柳々居心斎） who seems to have been one of Hokusai’s students. He left many beautiful Surimono works in his short twenty-four year life.

In the image the woman on the right is placing a cloth on top of her hairdo, which seems to have been a fashion among young ladies at the time.

A girl on the left is holding a small plum branch.
