Description
The use of a bird`s eye view, making the print resemble a map, allows Hokusai to depict both bridges at the foot of Mt. Tenpō in this work. With hardly a cloud in the sky and the sakura trees in full bloom, the day is perfect for a walk up the mountain, and we can see many people doing just that in this print.
