Description: From the series "8 Views of the Eastern Capital".

People gradually emerge from their houses to go about their daily business after a heavy storm. The raised platforms on the bank, probably used for picnics, are deserted; it has been much too wet to partake in such an activity. The menacing dark pink sky - the remnant of the storm - is beginning to clear, however, so maybe a picnic is on the cards for tomorrow...
