Description: From the series "8 Views of the Eastern Capital".

Despite the presence of the full moon, suggesting it is early evening or night, "Autumn Moon at Takanawa" is a very light print. The bright moonlight illuminates the scene, showing us the busy harbour and ships heading for shore in the dusk. Thanks to the clear sky, we can admire the clean calligraphy of the poem, delicately printed by Adachi.

There are a few slight foxing spots on this print.
