Ships return home in the rose-pink dusk after a productive day out at sea. The sky is clear, and Mt. Fuji can be seen rising in the distance. The deep blue pigment used for the sea and the dark pink tone used for the sky contrast each other exquisitely, and the light blue background also helps to bring out the beauty of the pigments.
