'My Solitudes' was a set of 12 prints issued by Dave over the course of a three-year period from 2007 into 2009. It was his first venture into making a series of original prints, as opposed to the ukiyo-e reproductions that had made up most of his work to that time.

You can read more about the concept of the project over on his original website for it; he selected three locations (river, forest, seacoast), and re-visited them in each season, camping and watching the wildlife.

But it wasn't just prints - the project was actually a book in 12 chapters, telling the 'story' of his adventures in each place, and that is the form in which it was sent to subscribers - a chapter of the book each time, with the print bound into it.
