Description
The 'Hanga Treasure Chest' was a set of 24 subscription prints issued by Dave during the year 2005. They were sent out to the waiting subscribers every second Saturday, thus arriving in their mailbox (for the subscribers in Japan) the following Monday morning.
A display stand / storage box was sent together with the initial print, and of course people were thus able to keep the latest print on display, with the others tucked safely inside.
The descriptions given here on this website are the text that was included on the pamphlet that accompanied each print. The designs were not announced in advance, and nobody knew what would be arriving in their mailbox each time ...
