Description

Print 1 (top left): The title print of the set, with a banner and anchor chain in the foreground and mountains (with the anchor and city emblem landmarks faintly visible), the town, and ships in the background. The sponsor is unknown (松三_?).

Print 2 (top middle-left): Shipping trawlers in front of the mountains in the morning. With the sponsor name "Kikai" (喜海).

Print 3 (top middle-right): A flag probably hung in celebration of the festival. With the sponsor name "Sono" (園生).

Print 4 (top right): Cherry blossoms in front of the hazy mountain range. With the sponsor name "Takeba" (竹葉).

Print 5 (lower left): A seagull flies above some Japanese marine flags in this print. With an unidentified sponsor name (松三_?).

Print 6 (lower middle-left): A couple enjoys fireworks at the port in the evening. With the sponsor name "(Kobayashi) Korin" ((小林)好燐).

Print 7 (lower middle-right): Festival-goers enjoy dancing along with matsuri tunes, the Kobe City emblem overhead. With an unidentified sponsor name (?次).

Print 8 (lower right): Pine trees planted in the shape of an anchor and the Kobe City emblem on Mt. Ikari (this landmark can still be seen to this day, with the two shapes lit up at night) The sponsor is unknown (松三_?). The reflections of the buildings on the water are an particularly impressive touch considering the small size of the print, and show the skill of the carver and printer.
