Description: An original print left from the Edo era, this is one example from a large set published in the 1850s, of famous places in 'Naniwa', which is the classical term used for the area now known as Osaka.

This one depicts the well-known Mitsu Hachimangu (shrine), a place that is still there, although according to Google images, the tree in the courtyard has been replaced by a flowering cherry ...

The print overall is in very good condition (paper, pigments, etc.) but it is marred by the area of foxing ...
