Description: Kuniyoshi was evaluated as "Kuniyoshi of warrior prints" during his active period, but now his Western-style landscape paintings are artistically more highly regarded. This print is one of the five prints published in the Edo period out of the fifteen prints titled "Famous Places of the Eastern Capital."

The intensity of the rain is skillfully expressed by thin vertical rain lines and thick thin ink strokes. Indigo and two shades of black ink and blurring create a wonderful sense of depth and space.

This version is a post-war reproduction by Takamizawa Company.
