Description: This charming print belongs to the series “Famous Paintings” (Meika gafu), a collection featuring diverse subjects—including birds, flowers, landscapes, and figures—by various artists, and published in 1913 by Naosaburo Yamada (Unsodo).

This particular design features a morning glory plant with a dragonfly delicately perched on one of its branches. a The artist employs a fluid brushstroke technique, creating a sense of spontaneity, movement, and transparency reminiscent of watercolor painting.

The color palette, dominated by lush greens, enhances the tranquil atmosphere, while the vivid blue of the flowers provides a striking contrast, adding vibrancy and elegance to the overall composition.

This print has slight toning, foxing, and creases. Also, it has some slight dents in the paper, although in reality it's less visible than in the photos.
