Description: This set of five prints depicts a Kabuki performance about the exploits of the "Five Shiranami Men" (shiranami - meaning thieves). Each of the five is a distinct and compelling character, inspired by real or fictional figures of theif. The story, written by Kawatake Mokuami, is notable for its beautiful and rhythmic dialogue. Each print showcases an actor along with their associated famous lines.


These prints have toning, staining, and wormholes. Also, they are partially patched.
