Just in front the exit, a group of women on the right and a man surrounded by other women on the left are leaving Shimabara… the houses of the village are visible behind the walls. A discrete crescent moon is perceptible on the sky. This particular print is a post-war reproduction by Yuyudo. Note: the size of this print is slightly smaller than the original.
