Description: This print is from a set of reproductions of 25 of Hiroshige's lesser-known prints, given the English title "Rare Publication: Selected Works by Hiroshige" by the publisher, O-Edo Mokuhansha.

A small bird, possibly a great titmouse, perches on a branch of a mountain cherry blossom tree in early spring in this Hiroshige print. The original print is believed to have been part of a series produced by Fujiokaya Hikotaro, and the date of publication is currently unknown. Hiroshige produced a plethora of bird-and-flower prints during his lifetime, and many closely resembled each other.

There are a few slight creases at the left.
