Description: This print was originally published as part of the series “Twelve Types of Women’s Handicraft” by Utamaro. This print of Utamaro depicts two women in an intimate scene, a standing hairdresser is combing the long hair of a seated beauty. The joyful contrast of both of the kimono patterns catches the viewer’s attention.

This version is a post-war reproduction by Adachi Company.
