Description: In this print from Hokusai's "1000 Views of the Sea" series, numerous fishermen are shown using different methods to make a decent catch. The Miyato River (Miyatogawa) is the name for part of the river in the Asakusa area, not too far from the Mokuhankan. In this print we can see the fishermen in the boat in the foreground preparing to use longlines to make their catch, while other fishermen use fishing rods or harpoons.

This version was reproduced by Adachi Company, presumably in the 1970s.
