Description: This print, the right part of a triptych, illustrates a scene from the kabuki play Azuma Kudari Gojusan Tsugi. In this composition, the monk Tenichibo, dressed in a distinctive gray kimono, is depicted hiding behind a shoji door. He watches the unfolding action from a distance, observing two other characters—a woman and a samurai—who are part of the middle and left sheets of the triptych, though they are not visible in this section.

The shoji door acts as a visual barrier between the monk and the other characters, emphasizing his secretive role in this moment. The composition suggests an air of mystery and intrigue, typical of kabuki performances.

There is a hole and tears at the left edge. Also, it has toning overall.
