Description: This print depicts the famous kabuki actor Matsumoto Koshiro standing beside a young woman along the shore of a riverbank, beneath the branches of a willow tree. A diamond pattern is delicately embossed on the actor’s kimono like the waves of the water seen in the background.

It is an interesting design that shows Kiyonaga’s skill in capturing the personality of its main characters. The subtle textures and the refined details emphasize the elegance of the whole scene.
