Description: This print is from the set “The 18 Famous Kabuki Plays,” made popular by the Ichikawa family, a very famous line of actors. It depicts the actor Ichikawa Danjuro as the medicine man in “Uirou-uri,” one of these famous 18 Kabuki Plays.   The border that frames him is "Mimasu-mon", the Ichikawa family crest (mon). It is a significant symbol representing the family's illustrious history and tradition in Kabuki theater.


This print has slight stains, slight creases, and a fold.
