Description: A print also known under the title "Woman Exhaling Smoke from a Pipe" (Kiseru no kemuri o fuku onna), from Utamaro's series "Ten Classes of Women's Physiognomy" (Fujô ninsô juppon). A young, bare-breasted woman casually exhales a puff of smoke from her pipe in a scene of total relaxation.

The mica background is a highlight of the print, as is the fine carving of the courtesan's hairline.

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by the Adachi Company.

There are some traces of scratching in the top right area of this print.
