Description: This print is one from Hiroshige's Eight Views of the Environs of Edo series and is also known as Clearing Weather at Shibaura. The poem in the middle of the print reads, "The clouds having blown away and the strong wind died, across the calm bay of Shibaura, the provinces of Awa and Kazusa can be seen (as if they were floating) on the gentle waves". The poem uses a play on the word "awa", which also means "foam"...
