Description: This print is from the "Famous Places in the Eastern Capital" (Tôto meisho) series by Hiroshige. The original print was made in the 1830s, although this particular print is a post-war reproduction by Yuyudo.

This print depicts an interesting view of Takanawa in the Edo period. The bay follows a curved line where straw stands are aligned all the way along the shore. A splendid full moon shines in the center of the composition accompanied by a flock of geese flying above a calm and blue sea where some of the boats are floating far off in the distance.

Note: the size of this print is slightly smaller than the original. Please refer to the displayed measurements for accuracy.

There are a few slight foxing spots on this print.
