Description: This charming triptych depicts a summer party where eight women and one man enjoy the cool breeze by the Shijo Bridge. They dine on a platform built over the Kamo River (central Kyoto), a popular way to beat the heat. We can't help but notice the woman on the right sheet launching a floating firework on the water. The man sits right in the center of the composition, surrounded by the women who interact naturally. The design showcases Kiyonaga's mastery in depicting tall, elegant women, intricate details, and complex compositions.

The middle sheet has slight creases. Also, the left sheet has a trace of glue removal at the top on the backside.
