Description: This print is from the set "Ukiyo-e Beauties Overseas" (在外浮世絵美人画逸品集) which consists of 12 reprints of bijin-ga (beautiful women paintings) from Boston and Chicago museums collection.

The design is from around 1794-1795 and Eisho tried to depict transparent materials. One is the fan Kisegawa is holding and the other is her gray kimono. This technique adds to the elegant atmosphere.
