Description: This is an image originally from Hokusai's masterwork ‘One Hundred Views of Mt. Fuji’.

Beautiful Mt. Fuji towers in the snowy sky. In front of it, many travelers are walking, all wearing straw hats. Hokusai depicted two horses toiling away under the burden of heavy loads. Their tails seem as though they are actually moving.

The snow flakes are large and in various shapes, suggesting that they are presumably heavy and sticky. On the road covered with white snow, plenty of gray footprints are seen, indicating that many people have passed through here.

This image also, was colorized by Takamizawa; the original was in grey.
