Description: This charming design is from a series depicting children in a variety of activities (Kodomo Fuzoku), and showing their manners and customs of their daily lives in Meiji era.

Two young girls are playing tag in front of a wooden entrance gate, a maple tree peeks out from behind the inside house garden.

This print shows Shuntei’s skill in depicting finely detailed figures where the colors of their clothes surely stand out against a soft and simple colored background.
