Description: This print is part of the series "Children’s Customs and Manners" (Kodomo Fuzoku) by Miyagawa Shuntei. The series consists of two sets of 24 prints, each illustrating children engaged in various activities—from seasonal and indoor/outdoor play to festive events and scenes of everyday life during the Meiji era.

Shuntei’s designs are distinguished by their detailed figures, featuring pale tones, soft brushwork, and a subtle color palette evoking a nostalgic view of childhood.

Two girls dressed in traditional clothes cool off in the evening under the soft glow of a full moon. They dip their toes in the cool water of a lake, surrounded by trees and a misty forest that creates a sense of depth in the background.
