Description: This charming design is from a series depicting children in a variety of activities (Kodomo Fuzoku), and showing their manners and customs of their daily lives in the Meiji era.

Two girls dressed in traditional clothes cool off in the evening under the soft glow of a full moon. They dip their toes in the cool water of a lake, surrounded by trees and a misty forest that creates a sense of depth in the background. This print showcases Shuntei's skill in depicting finely detailed figures. The red and blue colors of their clothes surely stand out against the soft and simple colored background.

This print is backed and has stains, foxing, and oxidation. The right edge also appears slightly thinned.
