Description: This print is part of the series Momo Chidori Kyoka Awase, where beautiful birds are paired with kyoka poems. The series includes prints of thirty different birds species, using elaborate techniques such as karazuri and kimedashi (embossing), and printed with delicate colors.

Here, Utamaro depicted two copper pheasants (yamadori) and a white wagtail (sekirei) on a rock. The rough surface of the rock and the delicate details on the feathers of the birds create an interesting contrast.

This version of the print is a reproduction that was published by Yuyudo at some point after the post-war period.

There are a few foxing spots on this print.
