Description: This print is also known as 'The Willow Tree of Farewells to Guests at Nihon Embankment in the New Yoshiwara' (Shin Yoshiwara Nihon-zutsumi mikaeri no yanagi), and is from the "Famous Places in Edo" (Edo meisho) series by Hiroshige. The original print was made in the 1850s, although this particular print is a mid-Showa period reproduction.

In the print, beautiful courtesans say goodbye to their guests who, reluctant to leave, linger under the weeping willow in the moonlight.

This version is a reproduction published by the Yuyudo Company.
